Quintanilla seeks his old House seat
AUSTIN — Inocente “Chente” Quintanilla says he wants to regain his old seat in the Texas House because he believes he can better serve the residents of the Lower Valley district than the incumbent.

During a 38-year career as a teacher, coach and school administrator, Quintanilla also served on numerous boards and commissions, including as an El Paso Community College trustee.
He entered the Texas House for the 2003 session — the first since Reconstruction in which the Republican Party held a majority.
