She moved with her family at five years old from Asbury Park to the white collar class settings of Ocean Township, New Jersey, where she spent the remainder of her youth.
Her loud persona was the opposite of her older sister Wanda, a straight A student who went to Tufts University at 16 years old. Williams on the other hand was not a scholastic marvel.
